Get to know Tia Sittig

From an early age, Tia had a love for capturing subtle beauty. She was rarely seen without a camera in her hands. Brought up in a tight knit family in a rural area, she developed an eye for the idyllic. Capturing the best in the people around her and the natural setting where they spent their days.

This love of priceless moments, telling glances, and nature’s majesty followed her all the way to The Art Institute of Pittsburgh. She has since earnestly honed her craft for those who first inspired her: her beloved family and the landscapes of her childhood.

Choosing Tia to preserve life’s special moments is to invite a supportive friend along. At the heart of her work, her goal is for her subjects to see in themselves what the people who love them most dearly see in them: to capture what makes each person truly beautiful.

Get to know Honor Sittig

Hello! I’m Honor, Tia’s wife. When you inquire about services and scheduling I’m the voice you will hear. I’ll also be the one at your photo session carrying around the big bag of camera equipment!

Through all of the years we’ve been together, I have had the privilege of seeing first hand the love that Tia puts into her photography, and I’m her biggest fan!

Personally, in the years before Tia came into my life, I never liked having my picture taken. The first time I remember her taking a photo of me, I was floored. She showed me to myself the way she sees me and I couldn’t believe I was so beautiful! This is the core of her talent, and what sets her work apart.

Her skill speaks for itself though, and to put it simply: The kid’s got it.
